New Lick of Paint for Hirwaun Online

Winds of change are blowing through Hirwaun this week… and blowing a gale in some parts of the Valleys.
We have unveiled a new website logo (at the top of this page) with images reflecting different parts of the vibrant community that is Hirwaun and our aim to provide a news service for this community. In the logo from left to right, the images are :
- Hirwaun’s war memorial, in the centre of the village
- Ramoth Christian Centre
- 1st Prize Roses from the Hirwaun Annual Show
- St Lleurwg’s Church Hall, home to many community groups during the week
- Hirwaun Post Office’s new ATM cash machine, reflecting how changes to old institutions in our midst
- St Therese Catholic Church
- Hirwaun Library, which holds many events during the years, aside from providing book loans
- Hirwaun High Street, with a variety of local shops… use them or lose them.
- Hirwaun Village Hall, which hosts many Hirwaun community groups and events
- And last but not least, the entrance to St Lleurwg’s Church, Hirwaun. The Church celebrates its 150th anniversary this year.
We hope you like the new logo and the new lick of paint.
